BIO

NUDA Paper explores various topics of interest, through art, photography, design, and thought.

As a photographer and co-founder of NUDA, Frida Vega Salomonsson, is a very visual person. She is a detailed orientated person and enjoys just “sitting and tinkering with the little details”.

Her inspiration comes from books, documentaries and most importantly nature. When surrounded by the serenity of nature Frida allows her thoughts to wander coming up with new ideas and perspectives.

SCULPTURES

The three forces of nature all look vastly different. Vegetation has the power to break through and envelop, water is flexible and covering, and rock is grounded and solid. Using these materials, Nuda Paper has made three creations that represent the force of nature combined with how we experience it, not only in nature but in cities as well.

SCULPTURE_1

"The first creation is inspired by the ocean and flavour 03_01. I chose to work with glass to connect fluidity, transparency - and things in continues transformation."

NUDA
SCULPTURE_2

"For flavour 03_02 I chose to work with a stone with a deep brown colour, similar to the very centre of earth. We wanted to connect to the earth and the bedrock being solid and permanent. The idea is that the sculpture should represent the ground we stand on and the core of the earth."

NUDA
SCULPTURE_3

"Based on flavour 03_03 I chose to work with wood to connect to the vibrant and cyclical, just like forest and vegetation. Wood is not only interesting because of its ability to break through solid materials, but also because of its tactile characteristics and how it smells."

"WE WANT TO CAPTURE NATURE THROUGH SCENT, TOUCH, SOUND AND AS A VISUAL EXPRESSION. IF YOU WALK IN THE FOREST, NATURE IS CARESSING YOU, AND THAT IS THE FEELING WE WANT TO CREATE FOR LYFT/LAB.
